Once just a quiet intersection for travellers, Bondi Junction has uprooted its tame beginnings to become a sought after spot for its laid-back beach lifestyle and ultra slick shopping hub. So what about the food scene? Well, much like the surfer-style attitude that runs through the veins of this place, its eateries are laid-back, hip and friendly. And boy do they know a thing or two about flavour. We let you in on some of our favourite foodie hotspots...
1. Guzman y Gomez
Calling all guac fanatics. Promising authentic Mexican flavour with every bite, Guzman y Gomez is the perfect haunt for any quesadilla connoisseur. From burritos and tacos to quesadillas and Mexican inspired salads, there is not one dish in this place that doesn't pack a punch when it comes to flavour.
But the real star of the show? Nacho fries. Yep, you heard right. A bed of salty, skin-on fries topped with melted jack cheese, salsa, guacamole and sour cream, before being sprinkled with pickled Jalapenos. Hot stuff.

2. Dr Nocturnes All Night Eatery
Sometimes you just need food that's unashamedly indulgent, and Dr Nocturnes is the answer. Their small but sumptuous burger menu is perfect for evening eats, and it'll have you coming back again and again.
The daddy of them all though has to be the Bacon Cheeseburger. 150g of whole beef patty is sandwiched into a lightly toasted brioche bun, before being topped with a tower of crispy bacon, pickles, special burger sauce, ketchup and oozing smoked jack cheese. Best paired with a bucket of sweet potato fries and a dollop of the Doc's spicy garlic sauce, you won't be hungry an hour after this one.

3. Henley's Wholefoods
For something altogether more virtuous, you can't go wrong with lunch from Henley's Wholefoods. Who wouldn't want to go somewhere where they serve organic chicken schnitzel as a side? And they're all about organic eats here, so you know it's gonna be super good for you too.
Our favourite though has to be their Raw Tacos. This vibrant dish takes your classic Mexican snack and turns it into a healthy, wholesome meal. Lettuce boats are stuffed with sunflower seeds, walnuts and smashed avocado, before being topped with fresh corn and cashew sour cream. Polish up that halo.

4. Lobster Tail Seafoods
You can't head to Bondi junction without sampling the seafood. And if it's fresh fish you're after, look no further than Lobster Tail Seafoods – but rest assured, this is more than your average fish and chip shop.
If you feeling like pushing the boat out this takeaway night, go for the Lobster Mornay. Impressive in both looks and flavour, this dish combines the mild, creamy taste of freshly grilled lobster with a topping of cream, cheese and breadcrumbs.

Full of the delights of Middle-Eastern street food, Sabbaba is a haven for flavour-lovers. Big fans of cherishing the beauty in food, Sabbaba's dishes are a true feast for the eyes too, with only the freshest and most vibrant ingredients being used.
We love the pitas they whip up here. Freshly baked on site, these doughy pockets are generously filled to the brim with Lebanese classics. Go for the Tunisian option and you'll be digging into fresh falafel, Marrakech salad, eggplant, sweet potato and tabouli all topped off with a sprinkling of hot green chillies, hummus and smoked babaganoush. You can thank us later.
